Our approach

Healing that is whole, and shared.

Transcendent Wellness is a community-rooted, integrative wellness center in downtown New Bern. Through embodied practice, relational care, and shared presence, we support the nervous system in moving from survival toward steadiness.

What we believe

Much of modern wellness separates what is inherently connected. The body is trained. The mind is managed. The spirit is treated as optional. But your nervous system does not experience life in fragments — and insight alone cannot unwind a pattern that strength or spiritual language alone cannot reach.

So we work differently. Healing begins when the body feels safe enough to soften, when the mind feels supported enough to reflect, and when deeper currents of meaning are allowed to surface. From steadiness, something deeper becomes available: a clearer inner voice, a felt connection to yourself and others.

Transformation here is not dramatic or performative. It is consistent. It is relational. It is lived.

The integrated path

Body, mind & spirit — in relationship

Body

Embodied practice

Through Yoga, Barre, and Pilates, we build strength that doesn't require bracing and mobility that emerges from awareness. Movement is informed by physiology — we help the nervous system feel safe enough to release and rebuild from within.

Mind

Relational clarity

Through meditation, counseling, and guided reflection, we support awareness that's embodied rather than detached. Grounded in trauma-informed care, the mind gains access to reflection without overwhelm.

Spirit

Inner alignment

Through body-based healing and energetic work, we create space for what's held beneath language to surface gently. We honor spirituality as lived experience — expressed through integrity, presence, and shared care.

How we hold the work

Trauma-informed, always

Our work is grounded in nervous-system awareness. We prioritize regulation, consent, and pacing — you'll never be pushed beyond your capacity.

Collaborative by design

Our practitioners share one philosophy and language of care, so movement, counseling, bodywork, and meditation reinforce one another.

Community over isolation

The nervous system responds to connection. Practicing together strengthens resilience in ways isolation cannot reach.

Lived, not performed

Spiritual growth here isn't aesthetic or abstract. It's expressed through presence, integrity, and shared care.

A collaborative team of practitioners

Our teachers, therapists, bodyworkers, and energy practitioners share a collaborative philosophy and a common language of care. Because of that, every offering — a class, a counseling session, a bodywork appointment — stays in conversation with the others. You don't have to coordinate your healing alone; we help guide the process.

Come exactly as you are

You don't need certainty before you begin — only willingness. The rest unfolds in practice.
